PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Course | First Aid & CPR £110

For 2026, the PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) course continues to be a comprehensive CPR and first aid program designed to build confidence in lay responders to handle medical emergencies. It is a global standard for both divers and non-divers.
Course Overview
The EFR program focuses on teaching simple-to-follow steps for emergency care in a non-stressful environment, combining independent study (eLearning) with hands-on practical sessions.
Core Course Modules
  • Primary Care (CPR): This module teaches you how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. You will learn to perform a primary assessment, use barriers for protection, and provide CPR. Key skills include:
    • Scene assessment and safety
    • Rescue breathing and chest compressions
    • Managing serious bleeding, shock, and spinal injuries
    • Conscious and unconscious choking management
  • Secondary Care (First Aid): This covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening. You will focus on secondary assessment and providing aid to ease pain and reduce the risk of further harm. Key skills include:
    • Injury and illness assessment
    • Bandaging and splinting for dislocations or fractures
    • Burn care and treating animal bites or stings
  • Care for Children (Optional/Add-on): An innovative course focused on CPR, first aid, and AED training specifically for infants and children.
  • AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training: Often integrated into the primary care module, this teaches the proper deployment and use of an AED to increase survival rates during cardiac arrest.
